What Sittr is

Sittr is a private scheduling tool that helps families organize babysitters and pet sitters they already know and trust. Sittr is not a marketplace or agency. We do not find, screen, employ, background-check or recommend sitters, and we are not a party to any arrangement between a family and a sitter.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate information, especially care details such as allergies, medications and emergency contacts.

Families and sitters

Families are solely responsible for choosing their sitters, agreeing on pay, and paying sitters directly. Sitters are independent and responsible for the care they provide. Ratings and notes a family keeps about a sitter are private to that family.

Subscription

Each family workspace gets a 30-day free trial, then the Family plan is $9.99 per month (plus applicable tax) until cancelled. Optional text message packs are one-time purchases. Sitters always use Sittr for free. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, who is the Merchant of Record for all orders and handles billing, tax and refunds-related enquiries. You can cancel anytime from Account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Sittr, access other families' information, upload unlawful content, or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Sittr is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of any family or sitter, for missed or cancelled sits, or for indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
