[Company legal name] runs Sittr. Privacy is the point of Sittr: there is no public directory, and your family's information is only shared with the people you choose.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, password (stored securely, never readable by us), optional photo and phone number.
• Family details you add: members, children, pets, care notes, files, emergency contacts.
• Sitter details: profile, services, availability.
• Bookings and messages between families and sitters.
• Billing records from our payment provider (we never see or store full card numbers).

Who can see it

• Family members see their own family's information according to their role.
• Sitters see only what they need: before accepting, the time, pay, number of children and pet types; after accepting, the relevant care details, until a day after the sit.
• Private family notes and sitter ratings are never shown to sitters.
• Our operations staff see only counts and plan status, never care details.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run Sittr: secure cloud hosting and database, Paddle for payments (as Merchant of Record), and a text message provider for optional sitter alerts. They only process data to provide their service.

We never

Sell your data, show advertising, or make family or sitter profiles public.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account anytime in Account settings. Your profile, messages and memberships are removed; shared booking history stays with an anonymous reference so the other party's records remain accurate.
